About the shading in this picture, the shading you did in this picture is outstanding, but not completely perfect. However, the shading does appear to have a more three-dimensional effect on a two-dimensional picture, which is very good to be exact. I love the dog tags, they look almost like they appear realistic, and the four-point star on the blue one and the black paw print on the pink one, they both fit perfectly, especially the blue one, which resembles a lot like his shirt, which I also like as well. I happen to like the shadow of the character itself, it looks kinda perfect for this angle.
The picture does look outstanding in general, but there is one thing that kinda bothers me. The blue flame on the end of his tail looks too simplistic and poorly drawn. The flame may not be your best effort on it, but it still looks like an okay flame.
As I conclude the critique, I'd say that I will rate it Grade A. Well done!
